Rosemary Essential Oil uses

What are the substitutes for fresh rosemary?
I'm making this dipping sauce and it requires fresh rosemary,but I don't have it at the moment and I'm in a rush. I don't know what to substitute it with, I have dried rosemary but I don't think it will be good as I won't cook it...so any ideas plz for using the dried rosemary or any other substitutes for it???? plz help
Depends on what you are making... dried rosemary is actually the better substitute... just use a smaller amount because the dried herbs have a concentrated flavor.
