so recently, i applied henna for the second time.
only this time, i didnt have citrus sugar mix.
so unlike the last time, when i left it on overnight....
it turned out very very very very faint
and last time, since i applied the citrus sugar mix, it acquired a bold, dark, brown color.
is there any way to create a citrus sugar mix right in my kitchen?
You mean to seal the henna after applying? Toss some sugar in a pan, cover it with lemon juice, and heat till it bubbles. It should be runny but a little sticky, dab it on with cotton when it's cool. For large areas, I use a spray hair gel, which makes a pretty good seal. It's not as good as lemon and sugar, but it's quick and easy when you don't have time to make the syrup yourself.
