I need a simple and delicious vanilla fudge recipe please!?
I want one that does not call for cream. I love fudge and am hoping to get a yummy chewy, perfectly fudgy recipe please! Thank you!
1 can Sweetened condensed milk
3 packages Baker's brand white chocolate
dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1) Melt chocolate with sweetened condensed milk in a heavy-bottomed pan on super low heat. Stir frequently until melted. Do NOT be tempted to raise the heat to speed things up. Tip: you can cut up the chocolate into smaller pieces to lessen melting time.
2) When all the chunks are melted, remove from heat and quickly mix in the flavorings and then pour into a lightly greased pan. If using any toppings, sprinkle them on and gently press into surface.
4) Let cool and set up at room temperature.
Variation: Peppermint fudge (this is realllly good)
Substitute 1/2 tsp. peppermint oil for the 1 tsp. vanilla extract, and sprinkle crushed up starlight mints on top of the fudge before it cools.
