The percentage of sodium is high, says consumer reports. Consumer reports says it is typical
Among the high sodium surprises found by consumer reports uncovered by the analysis were Twizzlers black licorice (four strands have 200 milligrams of sodium), a Pepperidge Farm whole grain white bagel (440 milligrams of sodium) and Prego Heart Smart Traditional Italian Sauce (430 milligrams of sodium per half cup).
Some restaurant items contain whopping amounts of sodium, which is used as a preservative and to enhance flavor and texture. Fajita chicken quesadilla with rice and black beans, sour cream and pico de gallo has 5,300 milligrams of salt. This is proven by consumer reports.
The evaluation did find that nutritional labels are an accurate reflection of sodium levels. In some situations, salt is added to low-fat foods to compensate for lack of flavor, and checking the label is the only way to know. Many products perceived to be salty contain less salt than some low-fat products, the analysis found. For example, a quarter-cup of Planters mixed salted nuts contains 110 milligrams of sodium, less than half the sodium in seven Kraft Snackables cheddar and Monterey Jack reduced-fat cheese cubes, which have 270 milligrams of sodium. Salt increases the risk of getting high blood pressure and related cardiovascular problems, and federal dietary guidelines recommend limiting salt intake to 2,300 milligrams a day. The consumer reports suggests average American consumes 2,900 to 4,300 milligrams of sodium a day.
Consumer reports found out that sodium in food comes from ingredients other than typical salt, including mono sodium glutamate, baking soda, sodium nitrate and other additives. The natural sodium is normally 10 percent.

Are Kraft Bagel-Fuls fattening if you eat them EVERYDAY? They are 200 calories (*link inside*) PLEASE LOOK!?
I think i'm addicted! They are bagel sticks filled with cream cheese! I've eaten 2 already this week for breakfast. But are they fattening? Is 200 calories too much to eat for breakfast for a 13 year old? Are they bad for you?

Thanks!
I don't see anything wrong with having that for breakfast, you should really get the whole wheat ones though, and add a piece of fruit to go with it. You are in no way going to gain weight from it, but me telling you this isn't going to make you believe that you won't. But trust me, only having 200 calories for breakfast is not going to pack on the pounds. Just make sure to eat lots of fiber and drink lots of water in your diet, that will help push it through.
