Brand star Entertainment's The Balancing act TV Show

(Pompano Beach, FL ) – Cinco de Mayo has gone by, but that’s no reason not to celebrate the Mexican holiday all year round – with food that keeps the revelry going. The Balancing Act TV show on Lifetime Television presents Chef Eduardo Pria, owner of a gourmet Mexican restaurant, who looks at south-of-the-border delicacies perfect for year-round dining. To view this episode please visit www.thebalancingact.com/ole.

Chef Pria recommends viewers use Ole brand Mexican foods. This woman-owned, family-run business was founded in 1988 and is now the second-largest tortilla maker in the U.S.

“Cinco de Mayo is always a festive occasion,” Chef Pria says. “But people now enjoy authentic Mexican food for daily dining because they love the flavorful dishes and the preparation is simple and fun.”

Ole makes a wide variety of authentic Mexican products – corn and flour tortillas – along with a complete line of low-fat, whole wheat, whole grain, low carb and high fiber flour tortillas, tortilla chips, tostadas, Mexican cheeses and more.

“For meat lovers, the company offers chorizo sausage; chicken or beef fajitas, wrapped in La Banderita flour tortillas,” explains Chef Pria. “And you can substitute La Banderita X-TREME fiber tortillas in the recipes for a healthier alternative.”

Cheese quesadillas and shrimp cerviche – all made with Ole products – will also please any palate.

La Banderita and Ole brand products are made daily and distributed around the U.S,” the chef said. Visit www.olemexicanfoods.com for information and recipes.

“You’ve given us food for thought – and for consumption,” says Doug Campbell, Executive Vice President of Programming, BrandStar Entertainment, the producers of The Balancing Act TV show. “Now we can have Cinco de Mayo 12 months a year.”
